This class introduces you to clay and the pottery wheel. Get your hands dirty and see if the wheel can become your new passion!
You will practice the techniques of centering and shaping clay. Students are given the opportunity to experiment and come up with their own unique creation while being offered assistance when needed. With the help of an instructor, students may create up to two pieces each and includes painting. This class is ages 21+, BYOB allowed.

Instructor Bio: | Sarah is a local Painter specializing in watercolor and acrylic. She will receive her Bachelor degree in the Arts this spring from Millersville University. While her focus is painting, she received formal training in various mediums including screen printing, metal smithing, charcoal/graphite, photography, and ceramics. Since starting her small business, Art By Sarah Jo, Sarah regularly takes painting commissions for portraits of pets, people, and places. She looks forward to guiding visitors at The Pottery Den through creating their very own works of art.
