Daytime availability required. Limited evening and weekend hours available. We are a contemporary paint-your-own-pottery studio and also offer clay and mosaics. The right person is outgoing and likes to have fun and interact with others. Opportunities to lead events, teach classes, and make your own projects is also available. We require working a minimum of one 4-hour shift per week so this job is great for anyone looking for a part-time job during the day. Full time is also available for the right candidate looking for day-time hours.

Duties:
- Assist with walk-in customers, parties, camps and special events by guiding them through/answering questions about the medium
- Answering phones
- Using cash register and computer system
- Cleaning of the studio and supplies throughout each shift
- Assisting with Kiln room duties

Necessary Skills:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Strong interest in art
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to engage new learners in discovering and fostering their own art skills
- Fun and outgoing personality

Bonus Skills:
- Clay experience (handbuilding)
- Painting (glazes)
- Prior teaching experience (camp and classes)
